I went to a Maker Faire today. If you don't know what that is, basically its a show where people who make cool things come and display the stuff they make and talk about it to passers by. A lot of it is an exercise in "Why on earth would you make that?" like the hydraulic leg on a trailer that jumped from side to side for no apparent reason, but some of it is really cool, like this guy who makes surf boards in a shipping container. I'll probably post more pictures of the more interesting things in the next few days.
